McLaren Enters Golf Equipment Business with Former Callaway Executive
On March 2, McLaren Group announced its official entry into golf equipment manufacturing, establishing a new business unit called "McLaren Golf."
The new brand aims to extend McLaren F1 and McLaren Automotive's high-performance DNA, setting a new benchmark for golf equipment with rigorous engineering standards.

McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown said: "We are thrilled to bring our high-performance DNA into a new arena: McLaren Golf. By combining world-class engineering expertise with top golf industry talent, we are creating beautifully designed equipment aimed at delivering precision and excellence on the course. We can't wait!"

McLaren Golf has assembled a dedicated team of golf industry experts and world-class engineering talent. The CEO is industry veteran Neil Howie (pictured below), former President and Managing Director of Callaway Golf Europe, who spent over 20 years at Callaway and was instrumental in building the Odyssey brand. Rumors suggest that former executives from Titleist, TaylorMade and other major brands will also join, along with two top golfers already signed.

Neil Howie said in a press release: "McLaren Golf is an engineering-led premium project that goes far beyond equipment. We are building a brand rooted in McLaren's high-performance DNA and bringing it into a new sporting arena. By bringing together top engineering talent and golf industry leaders, we have created an innovation-driven company dedicated to pushing the limits of what golfers expect from their equipment."
The specific product lineup has not yet been disclosed. McLaren Golf and its first products will be fully unveiled on April 29.
