Shenzhen Sleep AI Hardware Company 'Linka' Completes Tens of Millions in Angel Round Financing
Recently, sleep AI hardware company Linka announced the completion of a tens of millions yuan angel round financing, led by Shenzhen High-Tech Investment, with existing shareholder Heding Gong Capital continuing to add investment.
Linka was founded in early 2024 at the Shenzhen Innovation Academy of Science and Technology, established by Professor Li Zexiang. The brand focuses on neural intervention technology in the sleep technology field and has developed the first "same-night-effect" wearable sleep device. According to the company, this product is worn on the ankle, with the target covering the Sanyinjiao acupoint, which can rapidly activate the parasympathetic nervous system, helping the wearer fall asleep faster. Moreover, the product does not need to be worn all night; it only needs to be worn for 10 minutes before sleep and can then be removed. The unit price of the product is 1599 RMB.


Linka founder Zhang Tao was born in 1997, with three generations of doctors in his family, and he explored non-invasive acupuncture during his student years. He graduated from Northwestern Polytechnical University with a bachelor's degree. During college, he met Professor Li Zexiang and joined the intelligent ship company Orcauboat at a very young age, where he was responsible for R&D and sales positions, and was involved in 10 heavy industry robot product lines.
CTO Cao Zhe holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Northwestern Polytechnical University and previously worked at Huawei's 2012 Lab Central Research Institute. Other core team members have over 20 years of industry experience, having worked at companies such as Huawei, Tencent, and Great Wall Holdings, with professional backgrounds in autonomous driving, consumer electronics, and neural interfaces.

According to official information, the innovation of Linka's product lies in the following aspects:
- It targets a special wearing position—the ankle, a placement often overlooked by many. Head-mounted and ear-mounted devices restrict freedom of movement, but ankle devices are relatively less intrusive.
- Previous tibial nerve regulation at the ankle has mostly been invasive, such as acupuncture that pierces the skin or surgical implantation of electrodes around the nerve. However, Linka's device uses Temporal Interference (TI) technology, one of the currently recognized cutting-edge technical routes in the brain-computer interface field, achieving a truly non-invasive solution for deep neural targeting and penetration, bringing neural intervention technology into consumer scenarios.
- The device also incorporates a neural signal data acquisition system and an AI decision model, enabling multi-dimensional reading of real-time body data and cloud-based deep reasoning to ensure each use achieves the expected regulatory effect.

Before the product was officially launched to the market, the company team initiated small-scale experience testing in early 2026. During the three-month offline activity, results showed that almost all users, after completing a 15-minute wearing experience, felt significant drowsiness and deep relaxation within a short period, with several even falling asleep directly in the noisy on-site environment. In July this year, the product was first sold in the domestic market, with a launch price of 1599 RMB, and the first batch sold out within 48 hours.
The funds from this round will be mainly used for core technology iteration and refinement, improving the complete supporting software and hardware system, accelerating commercial implementation and market expansion, and promoting large-scale production and delivery of the product. Lingluo Technology expects that the second-generation product will be officially released overseas within the next six months.
The investor in this round, Shenzhen High-Tech Investment, is the first domestic investment and financing institution initiated by the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to professionally serve technology enterprises. It manages assets of 47 billion yuan, focuses on high-precision and cutting-edge technology fields, and relies on the advantages of "equity + debt + value-added services" to provide rich and comprehensive post-investment services for invested companies. Its investment portfolio includes: Haiqing Zhiyuan, Yingyungu Technology, Ledong Robot, etc.
