2026 China Open is Coming! Sinner and Sabalenka, Both World No. 1s, Lead the Lineup, as the Tournament's Commercial Ecosystem Gets an Upgrade

Tickets for the 2026 China Open will officially go on sale on August 5! Recently, the organizing committee officially announced the first batch of confirmed players for the 2026 China Open, and simultaneously unveiled the schedule, ticketing policies, licensed merchandise, event services, and more.

The WTA 1000 women's event and ATP 500 men's event will be held from September 28 to October 11. Prior to that, the China Open will also host the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors J300 and the MT400 World Tennis Masters Tour. This year, the China Open will be the centerpiece of a four-week "China Open Carnival."

Top stars will gather at the China Open. On the men's side, world No. 1 Sinner will participate for the fourth consecutive year. New French Open champion Zverev, French Open runner-up Koboli, as well as stars like Aliassime, De Minaur, Medvedev, and Rublev will all come to Beijing.

On the women's side, the top 75 players in the world rankings will gain direct entry. Based on current rankings, this includes: current world No. 1 and four-time Grand Slam champion Sabalenka, former China Open champions Osaka, Swiatek, Gauff, and Anisimova, new Australian Open champion Rybakina, French Open champion Andreeva, and Wimbledon champion Noskova. Among Chinese players, Wang Xinyu will gain direct entry based on her ranking, while veteran Zhang Shuai and Wimbledon women's doubles champion Guo Hanyu are expected to appear in the women's doubles draw.

This year, the China Open's commercial ecosystem is being upgraded once again. HSBC has officially become the title sponsor of the China Open, with continued support from a host of domestic and international brands including Rolex, PICC, Emirates, Harvest Fund, Kunlun Mountain Mineral Water, Telunsu, PIF, Guojiao 1573, and FILA.

This year, the official licensed merchandise lineup is also more diverse. The product system deeply covers 12 major categories including designer toys, cultural and creative souvenirs, tennis equipment, lifestyle products, and collectible crafts, with an expected launch of over 600 SKUs, a 150% increase in product count year-on-year. Online sales will begin on August 18, and a 1,000-square-meter flagship store will officially open on September 12. The China Open will also partner with internationally renowned brands such as SIGG, TOPPS, DAKA, and Qimengdao to launch exclusive co-branded products, offering fans a brand-new collecting and consumption experience.

During last year's China Open, the tournament disclosed sales data as of October 2:

  • Ticket sales for the China Open exceeded 88 million yuan, setting a new record.
  • Comprehensive consumption during the tournament reached 33.56 million yuan, an increase of 8.56 million yuan compared to last year's total of 25 million yuan. Licensed merchandise sales exceeded 10 million yuan, also a significant increase from last year's 7 million yuan.

Tickets for the China Open will officially go on sale at 10:00 AM on August 5. From August 5 to August 18, registered members of the China Open will enjoy discounts of up to 20% off. After the ticket release, various options will be rolled out, including dual-final combo tickets, Golden Week time-based passes, and Diamond Mystery Boxes.
