Your Ultimate Guide to 10 Chinese Tennis Tournament in the Next Two Months!
Every year from September to October, China hosts a密集 period of high-level tennis events. This year, "China Events" debuts as a brand in a high-profile manner, with tournaments in nine cities set to take place one after another; the Billie Jean King Cup Finals will be held in Shenzhen for the first time—also the first time this top-tier women's national team tennis event finals are held in Asia.
Orange Bay Sports has specially compiled a guide to the top ten key events over the next two months for tennis fans.

1. China Open - ITF, WTA1000, ATP500

The women's singles main draw direct acceptance list includes 76 players, among them 12 Grand Slam champions: Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Madison Keys, Elena Rybakina, Naomi Osaka, Jelena Ostapenko, Sofia Kenin, Emma Raducanu, Marketa Vondrousova and Barbora Krejcikova, Bianca Andreescu. Three Chinese players are included: Zheng Qinwen, Wang Xinyu and Wang Yafan.
The men's singles main draw direct acceptance list includes 23 players, including five current top-10 players. They are four-time Grand Slam champion Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Alex de Minaur, Karen Khachanov and Lorenzo Musetti.
In the ITF junior main draw list, Chinese players Shao Yushan, Sun Xinran, Deng Peien, Liang Liang and others will compete.
2. Billie Jean King Cup Shenzhen Finals
Dates: September 16-21, 2025

Players:
Wang Xinyu, Yuan Yue, Zhang Shuai, Wang Xiyu, Jiang Xinyu will represent China. Jessica Pegula, McCartney Kessler will represent the USA. Italian star Jasmine Paolini, Britain's Emma Jones, and Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina will also compete in Shenzhen.
3. ATP250 - Chengdu Open
Dates: September 16-23, 2025
Location: @Chengdu, Sichuan International Tennis Center
Players:
The direct acceptance list includes Paris Olympics men's singles bronze medalist and star Lorenzo Musetti, 2025 ATP250 Mallorca Open champion Tallon Griekspoor, four-time ATP250 champion Luciano Darderi, 2021 ATP1000 Indian Wells Masters champion Cameron Norrie, and other world tennis stars coming to Chengdu.
Defending champion and Chinese player Shang Juncheng will also return to Chengdu.
4. ATP250 - Lynk & Co Hangzhou Open
Dates: September 16-23, 2025
Location: @Hangzhou, Olympic Sports Center Tennis Center
Players:
Andrey Rublev, Daniil Medvedev, Bu Yunchaokete, Zhang Zhizhen, Wu Yibing and Learner Tien among others will compete. Karen Khachanov has withdrawn.
5. ATP1000 - Shanghai Rolex Masters
Dates: September 29 - October 12, 2025

The top 78 players in the world rankings will automatically enter the men's singles main draw, including five-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz, defending champion Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz and others. Chinese star Bu Yunchaokete qualifies directly by world ranking for the first time.
6. WTA1000 - Dongfeng Voyah Wuhan Open
Dates: October 4-12, 2025

This edition will attract about 120 top global women's tennis players, including world top-10 players: three-time Grand Slam champion, world No.1, three-time tournament champion Aryna Sabalenka, new French Open champion Coco Gauff, six-time Grand Slam champion and former world No.1 Iga Swiatek, new Australian Open champion Madison Keys, and others. World tennis elites will compete for 1000 ranking points and a total prize money of $3.65 million at the Wuhan Open.
7. WTA500 - AUX Ningbo Open
Dates: October 11-19, 2025

Players:
The first batch of three Grand Slam champion-level participants includes Chinese star and former French Open women's doubles champion Wang Xinyu and former Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina, who will come to Ningbo for the first time. Two-time Grand Slam women's singles champion Barbora Krejcikova will return to Ningbo to compete for points. Additionally, based on past participation, Wang Xinyu and Krejcikova may compete in both singles and doubles in Ningbo.
8. WTA250 - Guangzhou Open
Dates: October 19-26, 2025
Location: @Guangzhou, Nansha International Tennis Center
Players:
As a "blessed land for Chinese flowers," the 2025 Guangzhou Open will be held at the Nansha International Tennis Center for the third consecutive year. This year's total prize money is $275,094. The acceptance list will be officially announced in mid-to-late September.
9. WTA250 - Hong Kong Tennis Open
Dates: October 25 - November 2, 2025
Location: @Hong Kong, Victoria Park Tennis Stadium
Players:
Over 50 internationally renowned professional women's players will gather in Hong Kong. The first announced list includes four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka, Australian No.1 Daria Kasatkina, Philippine rising star Iana, and Chinese tennis legend and two-time Grand Slam champion Li Na will once again serve as Tournament Director.
10. WTA250 - Jiangxi Open
Dates: October 25 - November 2, 2025
Location: @Jiujiang, International Tennis Center
