Four Chinese Tennis Robots Debut at CES 2026: Acemate, Tenniix, PongBot, TERO

The 2026 CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas has officially opened. Orange Bay Sports observed that four tennis robots made by Chinese companies are showcased at this event. They are: Acemate, Tenniix, PongBot, and TERO.

Acemate

Acemate is developed by WoAn Robot (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. Founded in 2018 by four HIT alumni, the company's product lines include home robots, sports robots, and companion robots.

WoAn was listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on December 30, 2025. Before the IPO, the company had raised a total of 391 million yuan from investors including "DJI godfather" Li Zexiang, Hillhouse Capital, Professor Gao Bingqiang, Cithara, Infini, and China Orient.

Launched in August 2025, Acemate is equipped with AI vision algorithms, 4K binocular cameras, and an omnidirectional mobile chassis. It tracks tennis ball trajectories in real time with centimeter-level accuracy, intelligently predicts returns, and achieves 360° full-court movement at speeds up to 5 m/s. The built-in retractable net automatically collects incoming balls, enabling continuous rallies using 80 balls. The domestic price of Acemate is 9,999 yuan.

Previously, Acemate raised over 2.4 million USD on Kickstarter.

Tenniix

Tenniix was developed by Shenzhen Enhansys Dynamics Technology Co., Ltd. in 2024. The company focuses on lightweight powered exoskeletons for medical rehabilitation and has raised over 50 million yuan from investors including Sequoia China, Puman Capital, co-founders of Xiaomi Group, and co-founders of iFlytek.

Tenniix is lightweight (8.5 kg) and can be carried with one hand. Within a volume smaller than a 20-inch suitcase, it integrates AI and robotic computing power to enable full-court remote voice command, dual-vision AI centimeter-level positioning, and adaptive ball return capability, with a maximum serve speed of 120 km/h, spin rate of ±5000 rpm, capacity of 100+ tennis balls, and 4-hour battery life. Future versions will support a mobile base for more realistic human-like play.

Tenniix is available globally through official channels, priced between 699 and 1,599 USD. During China's Double 12 promotion, the model priced at 4,399 yuan sold out immediately upon release.

At this CES, the robot has been upgraded from traditional repetitive serving to AI dynamic tactical play.

PongBot

PongBot is created by Shanghai Chuangyi Technology Co., Ltd., founded in 2019. With robot control algorithms at its core, the company's product line extends from table tennis robots to tennis.

The latest version of PongBot's AI tennis robot, Pace S Pro, features a core upgrade with AI vision algorithms and the addition of three smart sensors, enabling recovery running drills, adaptive follow-up training, and personalized match challenge modes.

This model has a maximum serve speed of 130 km/h, ball capacity of 150 balls, battery life of 8 hours, and is suitable for hard courts, grass courts, clay courts, artificial turf, and padel courts. It comes with a pull rod for easy mobility. PongBot partnered with Asia's largest clay court center in 2025.

Previously, this product raised 2.56 million USD on Kickstarter. The domestic official prices for the standard and Pro versions are 7,999 yuan and 9,090 yuan, respectively.

TERO

TERO is created by Haoyi Xingchen (Shanghai) Robot Technology Co., Ltd. (English name: Lumistar). Founded in 2024, the company received angel round funding from Thick Snow Capital in September 2025.

TERO features the world's first automatic shot angle calibration system, including a three-axis gimbal and dual-motor system for instant angle adjustment. It delivers serve speeds up to 140 km/h and spin rates of ±8000 rpm. Combined with its proprietary AI algorithms, computer vision, and 4K ultra-clear dual cameras, it enables player tracking, ball speed recognition, trajectory prediction, landing point calculation, and intelligent ball return.

TERO supports voice, gesture, and mobile control. When connected to an app, it provides long-term data insights. Its iconic Lumi Ring on the body offers real-time visual feedback to the player.

TERO will begin pre-sales in March 2026 and full sales in May 2026.
