Founded in 2024, SportVision is a subsidiary of Shenzhen SportVision Sports Technology Co., Ltd. The founder, Chen Kaifu (pictured below), was once a professional swimmer. Due to his inability to see movement deviations during training, which hindered his performance improvement, he decided to use AI technology to build a visual, scalable, and replicable personalized training system. He completed his undergraduate studies at the prestigious Yan Jici Class of the School of Physics at Jilin University, then pursued a master's degree in Robotics at Columbia University, and became an AI engineer after graduation.

The company's co-founder, Yang Chenxu, is an avid tennis enthusiast who previously worked at Tencent and ByteDance, overseeing AI product development. Other core team members come from companies such as SenseTime, ByteDance, Alibaba, and Tencent.
In its early days, SportVision started with the badminton scenario, launching its first product called "Haoqiuwa", an AI sports camera solution deployed in venues. The device captures court footage in real time, uses visual algorithms to automatically identify and capture users' sports highlights, analyzes and intelligently predicts movement trajectories, adjusts camera angles automatically based on match progress, and optimizes learning for complex multi-player scenes. The system can also automatically edit, add music, and generate highlight reels, which are displayed on in-venue TV screens. Users can also view match-related videos through the "Haoqiuwa" mini-program.

This system has been deployed in dozens of top badminton venues nationwide, gaining support from seed users including world champions Lin Dan, Wang Zhengming, and Gong Ruina. It has over 30,000 C-end users and has been installed in venues for events such as the National Games, the National Para Games and Special Olympics, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Badminton Tournament, and the Shenzhen Cup.

Following the completion of this funding round, SportVision plans to launch its first AI tennis training camera product, AI Copilot, with the initial market focusing on Europe and the United States. This product was showcased at CES 2026. AI Copilot uses a camera as its hardware carrier, capable of recognizing user movements and comparing them with standard movements, providing real-time correction suggestions and personalized training plans.
The funds from this round will also be used primarily for core technology R&D, product mass production, and market expansion.
