According to Super Yacht Times, the yacht brand Sea Expandary, founded by JD.com founder Richard Liu, has acquired 80% equity of Fujian Zhangzhou OceanWalker company.

Fujian Zhangzhou OceanWalker Yacht Co., Ltd. was founded in December 2022 and has established mature dealer networks in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Its core products (S60 series power catamarans and X53, X62 monohull flybridge yachts, etc.) are equipped with a new energy system composed of solar panels and lithium batteries, enabling zero-emission, low-noise navigation, and offering an ultra-long range of approximately1,500 nautical miles. The company has participated in yacht exhibitions in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Fort Lauderdale, USA.

Leveraging OceanWalker's mature manufacturing capabilities, Sea Expandary will significantly shorten delivery cycles and cover multiple categories including superyachts, medium and large yachts, sailboats, and support vessels. Meanwhile, relying on core technologies such as self-developed solid-state batteries, AI, and surface and underwater robots, the company will create safer, smarter, quieter, more environmentally friendly, and more comfortable products. All yacht models will be equipped with autonomous berthing and unberthing, intelligent collision avoidance, and voice-controlled ship-wide management functions, catering to the consumption needs of yacht owners worldwide.
