Ronnie Fieg, founder and creative director of New York streetwear brand Kith, recently announced a special project: launching Kith Ivy, a sub-brand centered around padel, with its first luxury padel club opening in New York.

Kith Ivy Padel Club is located on the ninth-floor rooftop of 120 Leroy Street, at the intersection of SoHo and the West Village, covering approximately 15,000 square feet (about 1,390 square meters) with high privacy.

Membership requirements are extremely high: a one-time initiation fee of $36,000 (approximately RMB 250,000) plus an annual fee of $7,000 (approximately RMB 50,000).

Ronnie Fieg wrote on Instagram:

"Since opening Kith's first store in 2011, I've always been obsessed with figuring out how and when to expand the brand into dining and entertainment. When I first envisioned the Kith club in New York, the vision went far beyond pure sports. I wanted to create a space rooted in community connection and cultural resonance. Padel quickly became the core vehicle for this vision.

As I got involved in the sport, I clearly realized it was at a critical turning point. In the U.S., it's still new; most people don't even know how to dress for it, let alone define its uniqueness—people always compare it to other sports, failing to recognize padel's own charm. This showed me an opportunity: not only to reimagine padel apparel but also to help shape the sport's trajectory. That realization became the spark that ignited everything.

In recent years, I've fallen deeply in love with the sport and conceived the idea of creating an unprecedented membership club in New York—a place blending luxury, lifestyle, and athletic spirit, gathering all who love competition and camaraderie."

Ronnie Fieg said the club was developed in collaboration with his friend Michael Cayre, an innovator in New York's dining scene and a club expert.

The club features three fully enclosed rooftop padel courts, a 1,500-square-foot (about 140 square meters) gym, dining venues, a Kith Ivy brand store, and a SPA.

As a long-time partner of Kith, tennis equipment and apparel brand Wilson is integrated throughout the space, including co-branded rooftop padel courts. The courts have 35-foot (about 10 meters) high ceilings, are made of custom engineered steel and canvas inside and out, feature Kith Ivy for Wilson branding everywhere, and are equipped with temperature control systems and custom lighting.

In the dining area, Kith Ivy partners with renowned restaurant Mogador — one of Ronnie Fieg's favorite restaurants in New York.

Kith also collaborates with Giorgio Armani Beauty to create a luxury SPA center within Kith Ivy, featuring travertine walls and floors, inspired by high-end hotels and spas worldwide.

The SPA includes jacuzzi, hammam, sauna, steam room, and cold plunge pool, along with treatment rooms offering Thai massage, Swedish massage, sports massage, and facials.

In early September, Kith Ivy opened a pop-up experience store at New York's Grand Central Terminal. To coincide with the pop-up, Kith launched Kith Ivy's first padel apparel and equipment collection via its website and app. The collection, partly co-created with Wilson, includes three Kith Ivy for Wilson padel rackets (priced RMB 2,300~2,800), outerwear, shorts, tennis shoes, bags, and padel balls (priced RMB 600~6,900).

The opening date of Kith Ivy's padel club in the West Village is still to be determined.
