Pebble Beach Becomes Ralph Lauren's First In-Depth Partnership Golf Course
On May 29, American luxury brand Ralph Lauren announced via an official release:
A new partnership with California's iconic golf destination Pebble Beach Resorts, becoming its Official Lifestyle Apparel Partner. As part of the partnership, Ralph Lauren will open a new retail store on the property, marking the destination’s first and only brand retail concept.
Pebble Beach Resorts is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful courses, having hosted six U.S. Opens and set to host the event again in 2027. The course follows the 17-Mile Drive coastline, built on natural terrain with cliff-edge fairways, undulating greens, and pristine landscapes, creating a design that is both challenging and scenic.

Over the past century, Pebble Beach has changed hands several times. In 1999, Peter Ueberroth, who chaired the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee, driven by his love for Pebble Beach, resolved to remove it from the market permanently. He enlisted Hollywood actor and director Clint Eastwood, golf legend Arnold Palmer, and former United Airlines CEO Richard Ferris. Together, they made a $820 million bid and ultimately acquired the parent company of Pebble Beach.
In addition to Pebble Beach Golf Links, the company operates three other 18-hole courses, a par-3 course, three hotels, a spa, and over a dozen restaurants within the resort.
To mark the partnership with Ralph Lauren, Pebble Beach hosted a grand event. Scott Eastwood, son of shareholder Clint Eastwood and a Hollywood actor, said on site: “California and golf go hand-in-hand. It’s ingrained in our culture. Even if you don’t play golf, it’s part of it.”
The new store will be adjacent to The Lodge and steps from the first tee of the famed Pebble Beach Golf Links, and will feature multiple Ralph Lauren collections as well as exclusive co-branded apparel with Pebble Beach.
