Just Women’s Sports Completes New Multi-Million Dollar Funding Round
American women's sports digital content platform Just Women’s Sports (hereinafter referred to as JWS) has closed a new investment round, led by Bolt Ventures, the family office of American sports investor David Blitzer. The official did not disclose the specific amount of financing, but stated that it reached seven figures in US dollars.

Pitchbook data shows that JWS has raised a total of approximately $13 million since its inception in 2020. JWS's previous financing rounds include:
- In 2020, it received approximately $400,000 in early-stage investment from investment firm Ovo Fund.
- In 2021, it completed a $3.5 million seed round, with NBA superstar Kevin Durant participating.
- In 2022, it completed a $6 million financing round led by Blue Pool Capital, the family office of Alibaba co-founder Joe Tsai, with participation from legendary tennis player Billie Jean King and Bolt Ventures, among others.
JWS was founded by Haley Rosen (pictured below), who earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Stanford University. Haley has loved soccer since childhood. During college, she played as a midfielder for the Stanford Cardinal women's soccer team. After graduation, she briefly pursued a professional soccer career but had to end it prematurely due to injury.

After retiring, Haley worked at STRIVR, a virtual reality sports training startup. In her spare time, she closely followed her former soccer team and teammates, but due to the minimal media coverage of women's sports, she found it difficult to track related events and information. So she decided to found JWS.
Currently, JWS has over 4.5 million followers across all platforms and reaches 110 million people monthly on digital and social media. Between 2024 and 2025, the platform's revenue doubled year-over-year, and it has partnered with 22 brand sponsors, including Amazon Prime, Ally, and Google.

Other participants in the latest round include: Starry Eyed Tomorrow, the family office of Bobby and HyeMi Cho, partial owners of the US women's soccer team Gotham FC; as well as Revolution's Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, Blue Pool Capital, and OVO Fund, all of which have previously invested in JWS.
Haley Rosen said the funds will be used to expand JWS's news and content infrastructure, grow the team, and double down on proven strategies in digital, production, social media, and events. One of JWS's current development priorities is to expand its events business.
