A new batch of 9 startups has joined the Australian Open (AO) accelerator AO StartUps, most of which focus on applying AI and big data to the operations of sports and major events.

AO StartUps was launched in 2022, focusing on identifying and selecting technology-driven innovative enterprises, providing them with technical support, and offering opportunities for real-world testing and global exposure at events like the Australian Open. These companies may receive investment from AO Ventures, the venture capital fund under the Australian Open.
Previously, 32 companies had joined AO StartUps, of which approximately 70% have become suppliers or partners of the Australian Open.
